Fentanyl Alert

After a number of overdose deaths in the last 5 months in Hull have now been linked to fentanyl contaminated heroin Public Health England (PHE) have released a formal alert thought their Central Alert System.

The alert covers:

  • Advice to give heroin users
  • Advice for drug services
  • Advice for commissioners

    • Advice for emergency departments

  • Information relating to naloxone administration/dose when responding to fentanyl overdose
