NNEF Bristol Meeting (June 2011)

This year’s event hosted by Bristol Drugs Project celebrated the achievements of needle exchange to date in the UK and explore the direction of Needle Exchange in light of changing injecting drug use trends and UK drug policy.

The day was divided between main presentations and a number of parallel ones, however we only have four of these online.

Presentations

The presentation from Natasha Martin on Hepatitis C and the prevention of liver disease.

The presentation from Rachel Ayres on the risks and challenges posed by ketamine use (Bristol Drugs Project has a specialist ketamine programme).

The presentation from Martin Chandler on Performance and Image Enhancing Drugs (PIEDs) and the related harm reduction messages.

The presentation from Nigel Brunsdon on the NSP outcomes tool initially developed at the request of Staffordshire DAAT and freely available to download.
