Matt Johnstone
Matt became chair of the NNEF at the end of 2016. He works in community based drug and alcohol services in Oxfordshire. Previous work experience includes; Project Worker running a needle exchange in Banbury, Research Intern for UNDP Somalia and working in Education in Japan.

Nigel Brunsdon NNEF Deputy Chair

Nigel Brunsdon
Nigel is one of the Deputy Chairs of the NNEF. In his day job he is the Community Manager for HIT. He is also the owner of the Injecting Advice website. Nigel has a history of setting up and managing needle programmes in the midlands, but now spends most of his time advocating for harm reduction online or delivering training and conference talks. You can always spot him in a room, he's the one with a camera.
  

Helen Wilks NNEF Treasurer

Helen Wilks
Helen is the NNEF Treasurer. She currently works as a further education lecturer teaching health and social care, in addition to providing independent drug and alcohol training. A registered Social Worker, she draws from a sixteen year vocational background in drug and alcohol treatment services, as well as within commissioning teams. She is a strong advocate of harm reduction and has worked with national stakeholders such as NICE and the NTA to improve service provision for drug users.

NNEF Non-Executive Members

The NNEF planning group also has a number of non-executive members who may be called on from time to time to do small pieces of work for the forum.
